Just The Beginning
My dad was struggling with pain for twenty years before he was diagnosed. Luckily, as a triathlete, he was somewhat managing his pain without ever knowing anything about the disease.
I learned I also had it after herniating a disk in my cervical spine. Since then, my symptoms have become more significant (especially fatigue and neck pain).
I’m 24 and I know this is just the beginning, but I’m grateful to know so much already from my dad who is a bada** at 66. We do our PT exercises together and he pushes me to live a more healthy and active lifestyle.
