I was just recently diagnosed in February with ankylosing spondylitis.

Wow! I think I must have had this for years and finally have an answer for all this pain and tiredness.

I do not wish this on anyone and it’s amazing how many people have it.

The fatigue is real

I help my husband with his landscape company and by the end of the day, I’m done for the next two days resting up.

My muscles ache, the pain in my neck is so bad I can hardly move it and my lower back, I just have to lay down for a while.

I’m still working on a solution with my rheumatologist.

I also was so thrilled when I had a reason for my pain and fatigue. I honestly just thought the tiredness I felt was normal but with treatment I have realized that was far from normal. The fatigue is still a killer and I am sorry you deal with that too. Best of luck finding a treatment that works for you. Anything that can slow the progression of a horrible disease is ideal. Wow <inline-mention user-id="2398572" username="tmilby"/> that's a lot for body to handle on a daily basis! My husband has AS, and I saw how working in the service industry left him beat up and bruised (literally) some days. What have you found to help you at the end of a tough day? I'm always looking for recommendations, as my husband's a stay at home dad and always needs some relief. 😀 - All my best, Auldyn

 I was supposed to go for remicade infusions but I felt uncomfortable w that and decided not to get it. Now, I heard hot and cold remedies help. My husband got us a inflatable hot tub and will be using it when it arrives. Also, I have been taking these <a href='http://Nzymes.com' target='_blank' rel='noopener noreferrer ugc'>Nzymes.com</a> I found and they seem to help w all over pain and discomfort. I don’t like taking medicine either however when I’m feeling really achy I take an IB profen.

 tmilby: I can say without reservation that Remicaide has been one of the best treatments I have done. I am so glad I chose to start infusions 20 years ago and I would do it again in a heart beat. I obviously do not know the circumstances of your decision to depart the infusion site, but i hope you will contact your Rheumatologist to discuss treatment options. I do enjoy warm water for arthritis, but I view warm water as a supplement to the biologic medications I use, not as a substitute. I wish you the very best. But please do call the Rheumatologist to discuss the treatment plan going forward.
