Why Community Matters

When it comes to finding community, the ankylosing spondylitis warriors online have it on lock. From Instagram hashtags to Facebook support groups – and even our websites, AnkylosingSpondylitis.net and AxialSpondyloarthritis.net – there are so many places that you can connect with others who get it.

Our advocate, Jes, made a video for us a few months ago discussing the importance of finding community after an AS diagnosis. We were inspired by her message – and we have deemed March 2021 Community Month.
