MRI findings
Hi all,
Still awaiting official diagnosis but had my mri the other week which showed non-specific thoracic changes (hyperintensity) and evidence of hyperintensity of the sacral side of SI joint and periarticular sclerosis on iliac side. I’ve been started on entoricoxib and had more specific mri scans yesterday, anyone know what these results mean? I haven’t had a follow up as of yet and feel just as in the dark as before! Lol!

Thanks both, this is me but I had to make another account as it wouldn’t recognise my log ins for some reason. It’s frustrating because she is yet to arrange a consultation in light of the latest imaging and blood results which I have received online so I still feel like I’m not getting any answers as of yet. The anti-inflammatory drugs don’t seem to do an awful lot and I feel like I’m in a constant flare. Thanks to both of you for your supportive messages ☺️

Hi Cara first I want a say I’m very sorry you even have to wait to be diagnosed with AS being newly diagnosed or waiting for a diagnosis can been frustrating how are you holding up with everything?. MRI imaging results can be very confusing have you had a follow up to go over your results with the doc who ordered it? He/she will be the best one to go over your results with you.
