Mattress recommendations for AS sufferer

Hi,
I have AS and Osteoporosis and I am really struggling with morning pain which is way more than I normally suffer with and wondered if changing my current mattress, which is an eve, might be the way forward, so has anyone got any advice or recommendations please ?before I go and spend a small fortune on a mattress that may or may not be a good choice.
Regards Alan

  1. My bed was/is treated like an investment because it’s where I rest and rejuvenate. We bought a sleep number bed 6 yrs ago - paying over 18 months without interest. It was worth it. Now I’m very cautious about the materials, chemicals etc that could make my health worse. So we switched out the toxic topper for a 100% latex topper. The sleep number mattress is great since some nights I need it to be firmer and some nights softer. Once this one goes, we plan to invest in the one that adjusts the incline. Highly recommend if your bed is your safe haven.

    1. Right here with you with trying to find a good mattress. We actually just changed mattress to the Tempurpedic mattress, but find it hasn't made a difference. I would love to see everyone suggestions.

      1. I've been searching for a new mattress too and came on here to ask this question! The Emma looks good, but does anyone have any budget friendly mattress recs?

        1. Are y’all talking about a brand? If so I’m really curious also. Can’t afford a sleep number and cannot deal with memory foam. Erika, is the Emma a brand?

I'm looking at this one right now 😀 Koala is a similar brand I think..

Mattresses are so expensive! I feel like it's worth it though..? I'm currently sleeping on a horrible thing I got for free like 7 years ago and have bolstered it with two mattress toppers. Needless to say getting up in the morning is almost impossible.
