  1. Hi Michael! Personally, I have not. But I would recommend checking out this page about hydroxychloroquine, if you haven't already: https://ankylosingspondylitis.net/hydroxychloroquine/

      1. Thank You Cassia, I appreciate your response and help.

    2. Did some research on pubmed. If you are looking for a double blind placebo controlled study, best wishes because most studies are funded by the pharmacy mfgs. I was able to dig this article out of the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology however. For sure, a study needs to be done. https://journals.lww.com/jclinrheum/Citation/1995/04000/A_CASE_OF_ANKYLOSING_SPONDYLITIS_TREATED_WITH.17.aspx

      1. Thank you for your response. I have seen brief comments that Hydroxychloroquine have been helpful for some to treat AS and plan to speak with my doctor about trying it myself.

      2. You are welcome. I am going to do same. However, I am ready to move on with a doctor who is open to treatments other than standard of care also.

    3. I have not used Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate but I know several who have for used it for RA. There have been mixed results.
