Ankylosing and Tendonitis

Hello,
Anyone here have Tendonitis, specifically on the ball of foot? Metatarsalgia? I have this new symptom 😕, can't touch my foot on the floor since last Wednesday.

  1. My husband hasn't said anything. You can post over in the forum, too, to see if anyone there can help!

    1. ,
Podiatrist told me AS can be the cause. He seen that before. I was not expecting to be affected this way. One more thing to worry, how can I keep working if I can’t walk?
      Anyway, thanks for responding.

  2. Thanks! I made an appointment with my rheumatologist but will try a podiatrist too.

    1. beccatx,

    2. I had my appointment with the podiatrist. Image test shows inflammation on the bottom of the entire foot.
He prescribed strong dose of prednisone, orthopedic boot and crutches for now.
Told me it is probably AS and to follow up with my rheumatologist. Have an appointment this coming Wednesday but with a new doctor due to changes on my health insurance. Little nervous about it because it took me 25 years to be diagnosed, was with the same doctor for the last 4 years.
Thanks for asking me for updating 🙏

  3. I have heel pain as a result of an inflamed Achilles tendon. It has hurt off and on for years.

In your case I wonder if what your podiatrist is saying about it. I have had significant issues with Plantar Fasciitis. Obviously I am not a docotr and cannot diagnose a condition. But if you have no seen a podiatrist it might be worthwhile.
